Developer tri-Ace and Square Enix have unveiled two new Star Ocean The Divine Force character trailers,  introducing the characters Malkya Trathen (leader of the Trathen race) and Marielle L. Kenny (lieutenant abord the Astoria battleship).

Malkya Trathen is the head of the Trathen race, the native race of the southern continent of Nihlbeth. She is an assertive, intelligent leader who possesses shapeshifting abilities like all members of her race.

Meanwhile, Marielle L. Kenny is part of the Pangalactic Federation (the multi-planetary alliance from previous Star Ocean games) and serves as a lieutenant aboard the Astoria battleship. Having graduated at the top of her class in the military academy, she is highly capable and dutiful to a fault, but finds herself struggling to live up to others’ expectations.

These are the third and fourth character trailers for the game, respectively, as the character trailers for Albaird Bergholm and Elena were released back in June.

Star Ocean goes live October 27 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, and October 28 for PC. Check out the gameplay trailer from last month, which also introduced the game’s main theme “PANDORA” by HYDE.
