Matchmaking services are recovering, and players are returning to the game! If you don't immediately get a successful lobby, give it a few minutes and then try again.

Starbreeze Studios has confirmed (via X, formerly Twitter) that they are investigating reports of Payday 3 matchmaking being down.
“Heisters, we’re currently seeing signs of an emerging issue with the matchmaking services in PAYDAY 3. The team is investigating.”
We tried to matchmaker ourselves and were given the error in the featured image above. This marks the the fourth day in a row that Payday 3 has had servers and matchmaking issues since it’s official release, though those in early access have also been experiencing issues before launch.
As always, we’ll continue to monitor the situation and will provide any updates as they become available. Hopefully, Starbreeze will be able to get this all sorted soon.
It’s been a rather frustrating weekend for us Heisters out there just wanting to play the newest Payday.
