Sega assured fans during the RGG Summit in June, 2023 that they will be hosting one more of these events in the fall. Today, the studio confirmed one for next week. The RGG Summit Fall 2023 will take place on September 20, 2023 at 12 pm JST/11 pm ET/11 am HKT/8 pm PT). The event will be broadcasted live on RGG’s official YouTube channel.
Both of the upcoming games in the long-running Yakuza series will be featured at the event. Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
With Gaiden coming in November, we can expect a deep gameplay dive into its new gameplay features, along with a possible glimpse at what’s in store for the season pass. Since we haven’t seen any gameplay footage from Infinite Wealth, there’s a good chance that it will also be showcased at the event.
Surprises are always welcome, and we are hoping that Sega has some in store for us at the event. A spin-off title like Ishin or Kenzan, created in the latest engine would a sight to behold.
