Risk of Rain 2 DLC Teased With Mysterious New Update
A new Risk of Rain 2 update just dropped that has the community trying to figure out what it does, as mysterious lights have begun showing up in the game, with a new DLC popping up on Steam.
Risk of Rain 2 Update 7.5 just dropped on PC, along with the patch notes, though looking at those notes, you’ll notice something very strange.
What appears to be falling comets. It doesn’t tell us much, but upon booting into Risk of Rain 2, there are now mysterious orbs of light that seemingly get closer as you progress through each stage as pointed out by X user @DragonRollZ

What’s more, a new DLC page for Risk of Rain 2 has also surfaced, with it simply named “Risk of Rain 2 – EXXXXXXX-X.” Its description doesn’t offer much, though this line specifically “1:19:9:7:14:1:12:6:18:15:13:4:5:5:16:23:9:20:8:9:14” decodes to “ASIGNALFROMDEEPWITHIN.”

What does it all mean? Well, the DLC page lists November 8, 2057, in its description. Putting the year aside, Risk of Rain Return, the Risk of Rain Remake launches the same day, with a developer stream also happening to celebrate it. That announcement also came with a tease at the end of the post, saying that Risk of Rain 2 won’t want to miss out on the showcase.
