Rumor: Bethesda and Tango Gameworks to Announce Shooter Called “Hi-Fi Rush” in Developer Direct Show

The upcoming Developer Direct show is almost here, and a recent leak may have just revealed one of the games that will be announced during the event. Called “Hi-Fi Rush,” it’s a shooter made by Bethesda alongside Tango Gameworks

The leak was reported by billbil-kun, who has correctly leaked various information in the past, such as the free games during the Epic Games holiday giveaway event

This isn’t the first time Hi-Fi Rush was leaked, either. A ResetEra thread from December of last year actually showcased the logo as well as some concept art of the game. At the time, ZeniMax was the company mentioned alongside Bethesda, but billbil-kun’s tweet reveals that it’s actually a collaboration with Tango Gameworks, a Japanese game developer under ZeniMax. Tango Gameworks was the studio behind The Evil Within and The Evil Within 2 as well as Ghostwire: Tokyo.

While waiting for the Developer Direct livestream, consider checking out our Ghostwire: Tokyo review to give you an idea of what Tango Gameworks is capable of. We gave the game an 8.5/10 score with the following verdict: “Tango Gameworks manages to embalm it’s player in a beautiful and enticing world that is known as Ghostwire: Tokyo. There is a sense of the unknown that shrouds this new, and interesting universe, and while I may have some issues, ultimately I believe the studio has laid out a solid foundation, for what is hopefully a start to a beautiful franchise. The story will get you hooked, but the world itself will have you staying, searching for answers to those questions you dare not ask.”
