Now, it appears that we may have a proper one on our hands, as the release date is rumored to have been leaked online, with God of War Ragnarok said to be launching on September 30, 2022.

The rumor comes from known dataminer PlayStation Game Size, who tweeted the following:

While they are reliable when it comes to file sizes for upcoming titles on the platform, they did mention that this release date given may very well be a ‘placeholder.’ That said, they did credit someone named Justin Rubin in the thread, suggesting that this leak comes from a known PlayStation QA tester.
In any case, just as is with everything unconfirmed, take this one with a grain of salt until official.
