Smite Upcoming Patch Adds Tier 5 Skin for Ullr, Krampus Inspired Skin & More

Regardless of what platform you play Smite on, this upcoming Tuesday will be a special one for Smite players as both the PC and console platforms are set to receive the upcoming 4.24 patch simultaneously.

Given how small this patch is, it should be a no-brainer as to why this update will be available on both PC and consoles the same day: its mostly balance changes and quality of life tweaks for characters such as Bacchus and Sobek. Finally, their mana consumption issues along with other gods are finally getting addressed.

You can catch the full patch notes below, which also includes a slight nerf to the Stone Of Gaia item:

Item Balancing

Stone Of Gaia:
• Increased Cost from 2000 to 2100

God Balancing

Agni:
• Noxious Fumes: Decreased mana cost from 60/70/80/90/100 to 60/65/70/75/80

Bacchus:
• Chug: Decreased mana cost from 40/65/90/115/140 to 40/45/50/55/60

Hun Batz:
• Sacred Monkey: Decrease mana cost from 75/80/85/90/95 to 60/65/70/75/80

Isis:
• Dispel Magic: Decrease mana cost from 80/85/90/95/100 to 60/65/70/75/80
• Spirit Ball: Decrease mana cost from 70/80/90/100/110 to 70/75/80/85/90

Odin:
• Ring Of Spears: Decrease Duration from 6s to 5s

Sobek:
• Tail Whip: Decrease mana cost from 70/80/90/100/110 to 60/65/70/75/80

If you’re wondering why this patch is very light in terms of balancing, it’s due to the Smite World Championship which will be running on this patch. With that said, Hi-Rez Studios doesn’t want to make extreme changes to the game before the biggest tournament of the year happens.

Balancing aside, as with every patch for Smite here’s the new cosmetic skins you can expect to be available for this patch. Among these new skins is the coveted Tier 5 skin for Ullr that you receive for buying a good majority of the Odyssey items this year or my personal favorite skin for this patch, the Krampus themed skin for Cernunnos:
