Rebellion has released Sniper Elite 5 update 1.25 on all platforms, and this is for patch version 2.11! This brings a fix to the black screen issue plaguing PC players since the Death From Above DLC dropped earlier this month. Read on for what’s new in the Sniper Elite 5 April 24 patch notes.

Update: Rebellion has not acknowledged if there are any changes in today’s patch other than fixing access to it.

Snipers, we are pleased to reveal that the most recent hotfix should allow normal access to Sniper Elite 5.

Here’s the announcement by Rebellion regarding today’s patch:

We are confident that the black screen issue that has affected some members of our Steam community has now been resolved with the latest title update. Please make sure your game is up to date with version 2.11.

If you have previously been using the Early Access branch, please revert back to the main game branch as soon as possible to ensure you are able to continue to enjoy multiplayer. The Early Access branch will be closed down in due course.

No word yet on whether this patch also brings in fixes and other gameplay changes, but once we know more, we’ll update the article to reflect it.
