Sony announced that it has estimated to have sold 18.5 Million PlayStation 4 consoles to gamers globally following the holidays, the company announced during the first day of the annual CES, taking place this January 6-9.
“We are absolutely delighted that so many customers around the globe have continued to select PS4 as their console of choice throughout this holiday season,” Andrew House, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, said in a statement. “We will continue to reinforce and deliver additional value on PS4 as the best place to play, by bringing even more exciting content and by enriching our wide array of service offerings.”
Sony also announced yesterday that subscriptions for its game streaming service, PlayStation Now, would come to North America in the middle of January.
