If you can’t log in to Tekken 8, it’s not just you, as Bandai Namco Entertainment has taken the game’s servers down. The Tekken 8 downtime will last for a few hours, and you can check the server status and downtime schedule for the game below.

[PDT] June 10th (Monday) 18:30 – 24:00

[EDT] June 10th (Monday) 21:30 – 03:00

[UTC] June 11th (Tuesday) 1:30 – 07:00

[JST] June 11th (Tuesday) 10:30 – 16:00

[HKT] June 11th (Tuesday) 09:30 – 15:00

* During server maintenance, all online content will be inaccessible.

A patch should be available for download now on all platforms. Here’s what’s new with the title update.

  • New items added to the TEKKEN SHOP
  • Feature improvements and bug fixes
  • Properties and/or behavior for select moves of select characters were adjusted.

Update Details

New items added to the TEKKEN SHOP

  • New costume packs “Dangerous Grappler Pack” and “Wonderful Wrestler Pack” will be available for all playable characters.
  • A legacy costume for “Asuka” will be available.
  • One free avatar customization item.

Functional improvements, Bug fixes

  • Optimized the PC performance measurement process conducted during the initial launch and when resetting “Graphics Settings” (Steam version only).
  • Added a feature that automatically lowers the “Graphics Settings” for subsequent matches if the processing load exceeds a certain threshold during online battles (Steam version only).
  • Improved the “PRACTICE” mode by temporarily saving the settings for “Punishment Training” and the practice mode “Defense.” When playing again with the same character, the previous settings will be retained.
  • Other miscellaneous improvements and bug fixes were implemented.
