TopSpin 2K25 New Update 1.12 Smashes Out for Season 3 Content This Aug. 14

Hangar 13 has pushed out the latest major update for TopSpin 2K25 which ushers in Season 3! Players can now download TopSpin 2K25 update 1.12 (PS5 version 1.012) and this brings Caro Garcia, male and female crossplay in online and more.

TopSpin 2K25 New Update 1.12 Patch Notes for Aug. 14:

Update: 2K has released the official patch notes for Season 3!

NEW PLAYABLE PRO:

• Adding Caroline Garcia to the roster.

NEW GAME CONTENT:

• Adding Laver Cup to men’s MyCAREER.

• Adding 2 Laver Cup venues (Berlin and San Francisco) in Exhibition Modes.

• Added a new G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time) status in MyCAREER with new goals and rewards.

GAMEPLAY UPDATES:

• Added controller D-pad support for player movement during gameplay.

• Added Tournament Points in World Tour for winning or losing any match, similar to how it works in 2K Tour.

• Updated World Tour matchmaking to allow male and female MyPLAYERS to match against each other. This will be automatically updated after the patch. This can be disabled via your settings.

COSMETICS:

• Added 4 new Tennis Style animations in the Pro Shop.

• Added 2 new Pro Outfits in the Pro Shop.

• Added new default Pro Outfits for Taylor Fritz (Hugo Boss) and Karolina Pliskova (Adidas).

While the official patch notes aren’t out yet, 2K has revealed some of the new content incoming:

Dominate the Arthur Ashe Stadium with @CaroGarcia now playable in TopSpin 2K25!

A new Centre Court Pass, presented by American Express, will feature new free and premium rewards to earn through playing.

In addition to that, community member pokemongolist has also noticed the following changes:

• Garcia is in the game now.
• Some more settings to calibrate the game.
• Male/ female crossplay in online modes.
• And moving/ aiming with the D-Pad is finally possible for everyone!
