Valorant Update 1.000.009 Deployed for Crash Fix This Aug. 15, Expect Server Queues to Go Down
While patch 9.03 was just released the other day for Valorant’s PC and console versions, Riot Games has issued another client-side patch today primarily for consoles. Players will be able to download Valorant update 1.000.009 right now, and this is to fix a crashing issue affecting players.
Do note that all queues will “go down” starting 1:30 pm PT/4:30 pm ET/4:30 am HKT for this patch to roll out.
Valorant Update 1.000.009 Patch Notes for Aug. 15:
Here’s the announcement from Riot regarding today’s patch:
We’re deploying a hotfix for a crash that can occur for some players when loading into a match and cause long load times. The fix is rolling out soon and all queues will go down starting at 1:30 pm PT. We’ll keep you posted on when queues are back
That’s about it. Chances are, the queue times are back to normal levels by the time you read this, but if it hasn’t, we’ll update the article with more announcements from Riot if any are made.
