Warhammer 40K: Darktide Delayed to November

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

Martin Wahlund, CEO of Fatshark Games, announced that their upcoming game, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has been delayed to November. The announcement came via the game’s official Twitter account where Wahlund expressed the team’s disappointment but calls it a necessary decision:

Today, we decided to delay the launch of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide to November 30th for PC. Xbox Series XIS will launch shortly after PC, with a specific launch date to come.

Delaying a game is perhaps one of the most difficult decisions a developer faces and one we are not excited about making. Still, we hope this speaks to our commitment to taking the time necessary and doing whatever it takes to get you the best possible game.

Fatshark Games has also set a series of playtests and betas to “ensure a smooth experience at launch”. You can sign up for the beta using your email through this link.

Warhammer 40K: Darktide was previously set to launch on September 13, 2022 for PC and Xbox consoles. Right now, after getting delayed for the third time, Warhammer 40k: Darktide will launch for PC in November, but the Xbox release date for the game is unknown.
