Just the other day, Ubisoft unveiled The Division 2 Year 5 roadmap, with its first season “Broken Wings” ushering in a new game mode called “Descent.” If you’re curious just what the mode is, and how it plays, we’ve got you covered! Descent is a free, 1-to-4 player game mode with semi-infinite and randomized progression, versus an infinite difficulty curve, available to all players. Including competitive leaderboards, unique rewards and new build rules that are unavailble in the standard game.

Take the Descent to learn about the Black Tusk, Hunters, Division tech and Ortiz Robotics, and their relationship with the Secretary of Homeland Security, Calvin McManus.

Speaking of what’s incoming for Year 5 Season 1, Ubisoft unveiled the PTS patch notes for it! While there’s no firm release date for Season 1 just yet, there is something to tide players over, as the Resident Evil event is returning next week on April 25! Players will also get a chance to obtain Sam Fisher’s Splinter Cell apparel as part of the Season 1 Premium Pass.
