Koei Tecmo has finally revealed the first-ever Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty gameplay trailer. While the trailer is only 1-minute long, it does give us a glimpse at some combat action, a few voice-over lines, and plenty of bosses and creatures players will face off against.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty was first revealed at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase event last June. Until now, the game seems to be on track to meet its set release window of early 2023.

This new souls-like game is set in a demons-plagued China. It features a fluid combat system with swordplay inspired by martial arts.

184 AD, Later Han Dynasty China. The land is overcome by chaos and destruction. The imperial dynasty that prospered for many years is now about to collapse.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a dramatic, action-packed story of a nameless militia soldier fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Later Han Dynasty where demons plague the Three Kingdoms. Players fight off deadly creatures and enemy soldiers using swordplay based on the Chinese martial arts, attempting to overcome the odds by awakening the true power from within.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is coming out in early 2023 on consoles and PC. The game is also coming to Xbox and PC Game Pass on day one.
