Blizzard’s undying World of Warcraft MMORPG will be getting its winter wonderland event starting today! The World of Warcraft Christmas event will run from December 16 to January 3, 2018, and will bring with, a lot of yuletide cheer, decorations and even items.
The “Feast of the Winter Veil” will bring decorations across Azeroth, but will focus on the major cities. Giant snow globes will also in Ironforge, Ogrimmar and Dalaran and will run the course of the event.
For New Year’s Eve, Blizzard will be bringing out the fireworks in-game to mark the new year! From December 31 to January 1, the capitals of each WoW race will have a fireworks display every hour of the whole night, so you’ll be covered wherever you’re located in the world.
Lastly, the Abominable Greench will return to World of Warcraft as part of the Winter Veil, and there’ll be rewards in store for those who defeat the Christmas monster.
