XDefiant Down With MIKE-01 and Uniform-01 Reports This June 21

It looks like XDefiant’s first day of open beta is off to a rocky start, as the game seems to be a bit too popular at the moment. If you’re seeing XDefiant down reports this June 21, it’s not just you as, multiple people have reported the outage with error codes MIKE-01 and UNIFORM-01.

XDefiant Down Server Status and Status for June 21:

The official XDefiant Twitter account has acknowledged the outage and said that they are currently looking into it.

We’re aware of server issues and are investigating fixes to stabilize the servers.

We will have an update soon – thank you for your patience in the meantime!

Game Producer Mark Rubin has also weighed in on the outage, and said that the issue is caused by a “metric overload,” which means a crapton of people are trying to log in and the servers can’t handle it.

First off, I’m sorry for all of the different issues people are having with the servers. What has been described to me is that we are experiencing a “metric overload” with just so many people trying to play. We’re hard at work on resolving and will let you know more when I can.

While this is definitely annoying, this is what betas are for, right? Let’s hope Ubisoft extends it by a day or two to account for the outage.
