Cult of the Lamb New Update 1.29 Grazes Out to Address Console Freezes, Bugs, and Fixes

Cult of the Lamb update 1.29 (current-gen version 1.000.029) is now out, and for those playing on consoles, this update fixes the soft lock players were having when cooking meals.

Changes 

Balanced Temptation’s Fate Tarot Card

Bugs Squashed (I personally ate one) 

• Fixed another edge case where Pilgrim quests would duplicate
• Fixed possible soft lock in Commandment Stone onboarding room
• Fixed softlock when picking up a Tarot Card

Console Fixes 

• Fixed softlock where cooking meals may cause the game to freeze
• Fixes to dynamic resolution
• Lighting issue fixes for Xbox versions.

I am glad to see that freezing when cooking meals has been fixed because it has been quite an annoyance for those of us who have experienced it. The other fixes are also welcomed.

Now, if only we could get some news on whether a new Cult of the Lamb expansion is coming. We’re hopeful, though Massive Monster has been pretty quiet on any more massive content drops. Let’s hope there’s a lot more coming.
