Destiny 2 Servers Pulled Down and All Bungie Services Offline This December 17

Bungie has taken the Destiny 2 servers down, and this maintenance also affects the integration features and the API. Players can expect a new patch, version 8.1.5.2, to be available for download later as well.

Destiny 2 Servers Now Down for Maintenance This December 17

Tuesday, December 17, 2024 — Update 8.1.5.2

6:30 AM PST	-8 UTC	Destiny 2 will undergo maintenance. Sign-on and game integration features will be unavailable on web, mobile, third-party apps, and the Bungie Store. Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.
7:45 AM PST	-8 UTC	Destiny 2 and all APIs will be brought offline for expected maintenance. Players will be removed from activities.
9:00 AM PST	-8 UTC	The latest Destiny 2 update will be available across all platforms and regions. Players will be able to log back into Destiny 2. Players logging into the game may be placed in a queue and may experience sign-on issues as background maintenance is still ongoing. The Destiny 2 API will be brought online. Clan features may remain offline until maintenance is complete.
11:00 AM PST	-8 UTC	Destiny 2 maintenance is expected to conclude. Console players who encounter issues updating should restart their console and try downloading the update. Players who observe issues should report to the #Help forum.
