Dragon Age: The Veilguard Patch 2 Released on PC This November 13
While the first post-release patch for Dragon Age: The Veilguard was pushed out last week and it included a host of fixes. BioWare has released Patch 2 this November 13, and this is a minor patch resolves two specific issues that, though might be considered minor, should still be something worth fixing.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard Patch 2 Fixes Rook Reset Bug
The two fixes in today’s patch for PC players are:
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a rare issue where some of an existing Rook’s settings got unintentionally reset after making and saving a new Rook.
- Reduced instances of a game crash issue during Shader Compilation when launching the game.
As you can see, this is only for PC players, and shouldn’t be released on consoles at all.
The fix itself is a minor one, but still welcome given how annoying it is to constantly change your settings when creating your new character. No word yet on whether we’ll be getting a console patch, but BioWare did state that we should look out for more updates “in the coming weeks,” so chances are, we’ll get another patch download before the year is over.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is available no current-gen consoles and PC, and is a return to form for BioWare. It’s at a healthy 82 overall rating on MetaCritic, while on OpenCritic, it’s at a 81 critic average, landing at a “Strong” rating.
