Dragon Ball Sparking Zero New Update 2.000.018 Adds Survival Mode for Free on April 21
Developer Spike Chunsoft has released a game update for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, and while this doesn’t add to the game’s huge list of playable characters, it does add a new mode for free.
Console gamers will see this download appear as Dragon Ball Sparking Zero update 2.000.018, and aside from adding a new mode, it also adusts CPU behaviour in Versus too.

Changes and Adjustments to Game Modes
Ultimate Battle
- Added a new single player mode, Survival Mode.
Versus
- Adjusted the behavior of the CPU at the “Ultra” difficulty level.
Don’t forget, updating the game is required if you want to play the game online. While this is a minor update, new DLC is set to be released this summer with the release of the Neo DLC, which will be pushed out alongside a free update that introduces a new battle system to all players.

Aside from Sparking Zero, Dragon Ball FighterZ was also updated today and it’s to bring a new character into the game, as well as apply balance changes.
Bandai Namco also announced Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 this weekend, and it’s due for release in 2027 for consoles and PC.
