Techland has issued Dying Light 2 update 1.072 on consoles and PC, which is hotfix version 1.22.4. This doesn’t bring in any new content, but there are important fixes for audio, Bundles not displaying the proper description, Tower Raid technical fixes and more.

For PS4, Xbox One players, this should appear as Dying Light 2 patch 1.72, and houses the same set of fixes as the current-gen versions.

The biggest gameplay-related fixes with today’s patch are for Tower Raid. A glitch where players can’t lose an extra life when the online game privacy setting is at “Single Player” has been resolved. Read on for the rest of the fixes in the official patch notes from Techland.

Dying Light 2 Patch Notes for May 12

  • Fixed some audio issues with Sola’s track
  • Removed the reference to a non-existent symbol on the HUD widget
  • Fixed the issue with the cursor hovering on Bundles not displaying the description in the ‘Featured’ tab
  • Fixed various Tower Raid board assertion issues, unabling players to e.g., interact with the board, load the Tower Raid hub and missing data
  • Fixed the issue with the Icon of Hunter’s bolts sometimes being overscaled
  • Fixed the issue on the Steam Deck, where longer dialogues could sometimes be overlapped by the item selector

This is a minor patch, though we’re hoping we’ll see a bigger content update sometime soon. If we get one, expect it up here on MP1st.
