EA College Football 25 Gets a Surprise Update That Lets Players Edit Jersey Numbers
While EA didn’t release a new patch for EA Sports College Football 25 last week when they conducted maintenance for the game’s servers, there is out live right now! Console players can now download EA College Football 25 update 1.011 on PS5 and update version 1.0.0.41 on Xbox Series X|S!
This is a small download, and has been released without any server downtime, which is surprising. Given the massive patch we got in the last week of August, don’t expect this title update to include a long list of fixes, as these are usually done with server outages.
EA College Football 25 Update 1.011 Patch Notes for September 9:
As expected, EA has not released the official patch notes just yet, but we can confirm that this will allow gamers to change the number on non-NIL players in Dynasty mode (thanks, RoysRealm!) This change has been corroborated by Less_Ganache_9588.
Chances are, the official patch notes won’t be available until later today (or in some cases, the following day). Once it’s out, expect an update to this story with the proper changelog. In the meantime, if we find more changes and whatnot, we’ll be adding it into the story for more context and to help gamers looking for what’s new.
If you still haven’t played the game, this isn’t a simple cash-grab by EA. Our review can be read here where we state, “EA Sports College Football 25 may be just the game you’re looking for as it is a love letter to what makes college football so special from the bottom to the top.”
