God of War Ragnarok Update 6.004 Mysteriously Enters the Realm of Midgard on March 25

Last week, Santa Monica Studio released a new patch for God of War Ragnarok that dished out the Dark Odyssey Collection for free as part of the franchise’s 20th Anniversary. Today, the studio has mysteriously released God of War Ragnarok update 6.004, which is an unannounced patch.
Before anyone gets excited, given the nature of the patch and how there’s no fanfare behind it, this is for fixes more than anything else.
The patch is also available for PS4 gamers, who will see this as GOW Ragnarok update 6.04.
God of War Ragnarok New Update 6.004 Released as a Follow-Up to 20th Anniversary Patch
Santa Monica Studio has not acknowledged today’s update, but we hope that changes soon. Given that we just got the new cosmetics for the series’ 20th Anniversary, and how we’re not expecting any new content to be released without any previous announcement to build up hype, this patch should fix an issue that surfaced from the 20th Anniversary patch.
Even the community is baffled at what this patch does. If you notice anything that got fixed or changed with the patch, leave a comment to let the other GOW Ragnarok players know.
As for the franchise’s future, the long-rumored God of War Greek remaster collection has not been announced. There’s also a rumor that a new God of War is in development set in Egyptian mythology, which we’re unsure whether to believe.
While the 20th Anniversary festivities might have disappointed franchise fans, there’s still a chance Sony announces something later this year to make up for that.
