Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered Update 1.004 Released This November 4
Nixxes Software has pushed out Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered update 1.004 on PS5 today, and it’s a small download that should aim to fix crashing issues on the console. Note that the PC version got a patch a few days ago, and don’t be surprised if this is the PS5 version of that PC patch.
What’s New in Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered Update 1.004
Nixxes nor Guerrilla has shared anything about the patch just yet, but here’s the changelog for hotfix 1.0.38.0 released on PC back in November 1.
- Fixed a crash that occurred for some players after running the benchmark.
- The Concentration skill no longer requires two R3 presses to activate or deactivate after the first activation.
- Mouse and controller X- and Y-axis adjustments now work correctly.
- Resolved an issue that could cause the Aim Toggle function on controllers to stop working after a cinematic.
- Stability improvements.
Aside from the issues mentioned above, the PS5 version also has a fair number of bugs that needs to be sorted out ASAP, and here’s a list of some of the known issues:
- Crashing issues
- Flickering visual issue when talking to NPCs
- Audio bug which puts the volume of the pre-rendered cutscene at 25% in Windows Sound Mixer.
Once we have the proper changelog, or have a proper verifiable stuff of the things changed, we’ll add it to the article.
There’s another Horizon game incoming this month, and it’s none other than LEGO Horizon Adventure, which is a more kid-friendly version of Horizon Zero Dawn. Wondering why it’s releasing on the Switch and PC and not the Xbox? Read on here for Sony’s convoluted response.
