Minecraft Bedrock Update 26.62 Out Now as Patch 1.063
Minecraft Bedrock hotfix 26.62 is now live on all platforms, and this follows the feature-packed patch Mojang released for the game a week ago.
Console players can now download Minecraft update 1.063 as a new hotfix, and this is a small download across consoles, PC, and even mobile.
Aside from performance and stability fixes, this also addresses issues related to Realms.
Minecraft’s Bedrock 26.62 Hotfix Addresses Issues With Blocks That Prevented Interaction
Graphical
- Fixed an issue where block selection prevents interaction with entities inside blocks
Stability and Performance
- Improve stability on Xbox when under significant memory pressure
- Fixed a crash that could occur on Nintendo Switch 2 when rendering scenes with a large number of objects
Realms
- Fixed an issue where cached cloud sync settings could sometimes overwrite config values used during a Realms purchase
Outside of the fixes above, some of the issues affecting the game include:
- Initial Camera Input Lag
- Addons won’t load
- Script API: effectAdd signals sometimes do not fire when minecraft:instant_damage is applied
- Minecraft Bedrock on Xbox series X fails to sync cloud save data
- Shulker boxes are disappearing
- Minecraft Bedrock 26.60 – UI freezes when joining a multiplayer server on Android
- Clicking on already selected choice groups performs its action
- Resource packs applied from title screen settings don’t change textures of “Music Features” add-on
- Cannot delete chest’s texture
- Getting inflicted by freezing effects does not produce any sounds
- Typing BUG 1.26.50 – 1.26.60
- [UI] Bow and Crossbow item icons do not show charging animation on the hotbar
- Mobs Can Attack During Jumping Despite Being Out of Range When Standing
- Achievements are disabled even when nothing has been changed in the game’s world
- Content shifts to the left when scroll bar appears in updated servers tab
- Bogged and Parched ranged attack interval is still not the same as Java
- Horizontal choice groups don’t render during screen animations
- Chiseled soulshale has too low blast resistance and hardness compared to Java Edition
- When launching the Bedrock Preview on Xbox Series X, it crashes
- The Panorama isn’t updated to match the new Game Drop unlike Java Edition
- “Achievements can’t be earned” waning is still shown in in-game game settings in Preview.
I am sure there are more unresolved bugs, but these are the most recent ones mentioned by the community.
