NHL 25 Update 1.010.001 Skates Out for Crash Fixes

EA Sports has pushed out NHL 25 update 1.010.001 on all platforms this October 8, and this is a minor patch that aims to resolve crashing issues first and foremost. Read on for the official patch notes straight from the developers.

Game Modes

• Fixed an issue in Franchise Mode that when filtering thru teams/players in the trade deadline hub the game would crash

According to the devs, with today’s patch, the team size has a higher priority in viability now.

This is the second patch for the game, as we also got a day one update that also ushered in Season 1. Chances are, the next patch will be released sometime in November given the NHL studio’s past cadence in releasing updates. Once another one is pushed out, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.
