Rainbow Six Siege Update 2.52

Ubisoft just plugged in an exploit involving rappelling in Rainbow Six Siege today on all platforms. Players can now download Rainbow Six Siege update 2.88 (PS5/XSX version 1.000.093), and this was released primarily to fix the exploit.

Rainbow Six Siege’s Latest Update Removes Rappel Exploit

Here’s the announcement from Ubisoft regarding the new title update: “This hotfix will resolve an exploit which allowed players to rappel through walls using broken barricades.”

This patch was released seamlessly without any downtime on any platform. Imagine that? Hopefully that can be achieved with bigger patches in the future. While the patch we got last week was primarily to resolve crashes, we did get the Y9tS3.3 patch last month that featured balancing changes and more.
