Saros Day-One Update 1.003.002 Released as Game Enters Early Access
Same as with other games, Housemarque’s latest title, Saros, has a day-one update available the day of its release. While the shooter’s official release date is April 30, it is available today via early access for those who bought the Deluxe Edition.
Players will be prompted to download the Saros day-one update 1.003.002 file as part of the game’s entire package, and it clocks in at 12 GB.
Saros Day-One Update Is a Hefty Download Size
As one might expect, Housemarque hasn’t released any official patch notes for the day-one update, and we don’t expect them to. Some have mentioned that, based on some reviews, the patch is set to apply a nerf to a weapon or two. That said, without Housemarque confirming it, we can’t really verify.
One fix we’re hoping that was implemented was the suspend feature not working as intended, and every time it was enabled, if a player put the PS5 in sleep mode, it would show a pop-up message on how the game isn’t compatible, and it would need a restart to run properly again.
Given Housemarque’s reputation and how polished their games are, we aren’t expecting a lot of patches for Saros unless it’s to add a new feature or piece of content. While there are bugs to be sorted out, it’s nothing major that’ll require multiple patches consecutively,
If we spot something specific regarding the patch, we’ll update the article with the info.
