South Park: Snow Day New Update 1.016 Drops the Hammer This Aug. 22

THQ Nordic alongside developer Question have released South Park: Snow Day new update 1.016 on consoles and PC, and this adds the Hammer weapon to the game alongside other items for a sum. Read on and check out what’s new below.

South Park: Snow Day New Update 1.016 Patch Notes for Aug. 22:

Stand firm against the darkness and assume the mantle of a Paladin to bring swift and glorious justice to the battlefield with the all-new Hammer melee weapon. Smite your enemies with ground-shattering attacks and protect your allies with powerful shields and buffs.

This DLC features the all-new Hammer melee weapon, six new upgrade cards, and new cosmetics:

• Weapon: Hammer
• Hat: Paladin’s Helmet
• Cape: Paladin’s Cape
• Tunic: Paladin’s Chainmail
• Emote: Victory Lap

So far, there are no gameplay-related fixes revealed about this title update. Speaking of fixes, the last one released was in July, which had the following fixes:

• Additional sound design for several boss fights
• Updated SFX for player weapons and powers
• Updated SFX for Enemy Bullshit events
• New SFX for Assassin enemies
• New SFX for Clerics
• New SFX Mission Complete Screen, Combat Ambience, Objective Banners
• Mastering fixes to some English VO lines
