Vampire Survivors Update 1.013.113 Released, as Devs Acknowledge Low Memory Issues Affecting PS4, PS5

Developer poncle has rolled out Vampire Survivors update 1.013.113 on PS5. This doesn’t bring in any new content, but it aims to address bugs and hopefully, the crashing issues happening on PlayStation platforms.

Vampire Survivors Update for June 12 Is Only for Current-Gen
Oddly enough, today’s update is only available on the PS5. The PS4 version hasn’t been updated and is still at version 1.15, which was released three weeks ago.
The developers haven’t said anything about today’s patch, but did talk about the low memory issues affecting the PS4 and PS5 versions on the game’s Discord server.
Per the devs, “A patch to fix PS4 crashes due to low memory is in the works, a combination of a memory leak in the engine version we’re using and the discontinuation of support for older safe versions is forcing us to upgrade the engine version, which unfortunately will take some time as this isn’t a quick fix.”
They added this, “For PS5 users, general bug fixes will be getting rolled out, but these are also impacted by similar reasons to PS4, and will require time for us to rebuild and retest everything.”
The latest changelog released for bug fixes was for the PC version on May 28, which was called the version 1.13.112 hotfix. There is a very big possibility that today’s patch houses the bug fixes associated with that given the last patch we got for PlayStation platforms was the one that introduced the Emerald Diorama free DLC.

- Blocking speed toggle button when Alt is being pressed so people don’t speed up when they Alt+Tab

- Fixed third evolution Emerald DLC weapons not effected by Arcana X – Beginning
- Fixed Adventure Foscari : Arcana XX not working (level : tides of the foscari)
- Set up navigation between OK button and button to help link on accounts error pop-up
- Fixed Hyperion Bazooka Chinese loc issue
- Fixed inconsistent name for Report! in French
- Fixed uncapitalized Tiny Bridge in Portuguese (BR) and Turkish
- Fixed when unlocking Tech during gameplay, its name does not fit the screen in portrait orientation
- Fixed closing the pause menu with hidden pickup icons resets the setting to ‘Show Pickups’
- Fixed Megalo Dracula not receiving stats on levelup
- Fixed clovers and frozen souls never being picked up by main character followers if sent to them or vacuumed by them
- Fixed John Morris selection screen sprites
- Fixed chests with dual characters at some points only awards chests to the secondary character
