Visual Concepts has begun rolling out WWE 2K24 Update 1.002 (1.02 on PS4), the second update the studio released during early access. Here’s everything we know that’s included.

- Improvements to overall stability and other minor fixes have been made to enhance the user experience.
- Updated the crowd animations for Jey Uso’s entrance
- Addressed reported concerns related to The Fiend’s boots when modifying their color in Create-a-Superstar
- Addressed reported concerns of custom MITB briefcases not showing in rivalry actions within Universe Mode
- Addressed reported concerns related to walking up the ramp in Create-a-Moveset when the match type is set to Hell in a Cell
- Addressed reported concerns of both eye colors changing while only editing one
- Addressed reported concerns of custom videos not appearing in Royal Rumble matches
- Addressed reported concerns of the game soft locking if subtitles were enabled before entering the Performance Center for the first time
- Updated Gallus’ trio entrance so they walk together
- Addressed reported concerns with multiple images not appearing properly within Create-an-Arena

Visual Concepts has yet to release any official notes or acknowledge that there is a new update for early-access buyers. However, the PS4 history log mentions the improvements listed above.
Considering several bugs and crashes have been reported for WWE 2K24 during its early launch (via Discord), we aren’t surprised to see a patch relating to better performance and other fixes.
We noted in our review that framerate during character intros on the PS5 did have dips, with the day one update seemingly addressing most of it. That does seem to be the least of the concerns, though, as users on Discord have reported broken creation features, with crashes accompanying. One can hope that this update improves and fixes those issues.

Was somewhat skeptical or apprehensive about purchasing WWE2K24 but it look’s like it might have a fairly smooth launch.
Not for Xbox users. Just accessing and clicking on Community Creations crashes the game every single time trying to access downloads, uploads or image manager. Can’t use community creations.
