WWE 2K25 New Update on August 20 Slams Out for Version 1.23
WWE 2K25 received a new update today, and this adds Chapter 4 to The Island mode. Visual Concepts has tagged this patch as WWE 2K25 update version 1.23, and this is primarily to usher in the new rewards for the new chapter.
Chief among the new unlockables added include Roman Reigns ’19 and King Corbin. Aside from The Island, there is no new content released, which isn’t surprising given we just got the Fearless DLC Pack last month.

The next major update is set to hit in September when the Attitude Era Superstars Pack is released. The premium DLC will include the following wrestlers:
- D’Lo Brown
- Billy Gunn
- Road Dogg
- Victoria
- Mark Henry
Alongside that, expect a slew of bug fixes and other gameplay improvements to be included in the mandatory patch. Once that’s out of the way, expect the next pack to be released in November, which marks the end of the game’s roadmap.
