WWE 2K26 New Update 1.016/1.16 Slams Out on August 28
While we just received a patch last week for WWE 2K26, Visual Concepts has rolled out another today, August 28. Wrestling fans will see the download as WWE 2K26 update 1.16/1.016, and this is an unannounced patch.
Given that the Ringside Pass Season 4 content was pushed out just last month, we’re not expecting much from today’s title update.

WWE 2K26 Updated to 1.16/1.016 on August 28
Unfortunately, Visual Concepts hasn’t released any changelog just yet.
The biggest issue plaguing the game is MyFaction not functioning properly for the Switch 2 version. Outside of that, the other known issues being looked into include:
- Won’t let players create arenas
- When creating a women’s royal rumble match in universe mode, the game stops responding the moment the “SAVE” pop up appears, and then crashes
- Ringside Pass Nakamura doesn’t have his voice associated with his taunt. For a character we have to pay money for through the Ringside Pass that is rly disappointing.
- When using the 1998 Raw Is War arena in Universe Mode, entrances seem to be turned off automatically
- Some shows/arenas use the “stage” video on the tron instead of the tron itself
