Titanfall Expedition DLC Maps Get New Screens, Xbox 360 Update Rolling Out

Titanfall Expedition DLC is coming this May to Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC users, offering three brand new multiplayer locations where Pilots and Titans will fight it out.

It will be available for $9.99 as a standalone purchase, or included in the $24.99 Season Pass.

Showing off the three new maps; War Games, Swampland, and Runoff, developer Respawn Entertainment has posted a handful of new images on their official website. You can take a look below.

So far, we’ve learned all about War Games and Runoff, but have yet to get the details on Swamplands. Stay tuned for updates.

In related news, Respawn has indicated that a new update for the Xbox 360 version of the game is now live and that it’s recommended you restart your game in order to install it. The studio added that “The patch can take up to 4 hours to roll out on the servers, so it will take longer for some 360 users to get the update.”

We’re told the patch notes will be up as soon as they become available.

Update

Respawn has clarified that today’s Titanfall Xbox 360 has “changed the Gooser challenge to 5 kills rather than 50.”

This game is dead lmao, remember the massive hype it had prior to its release, then it end ups being outsold by a singplayer only game Infamous and hardly anyone is talking about it now. “COD Killer” “Believe the Hype” Come on guys ..

    • That guy you might know

I’m sure Titanfall sold more, but I’m not sure how.

Seeing it barely has enough content to even being a thought to kill anything l, let alone CoD. It’s a fun well balanced game, but gets dull seriously quick.

      • awkenney

I’m disgusted with content being the bar for games. Quality gameplay is by far more important, which is where I think Titanfall falls flat on its face. It tries to please to many players playing too many play styles when it should just have more focus on the things that contribute to the competition.

    • oofy

      What is a dead lmao?

      • Trim Dose

        Tittiefail is dead.

        • oofy

Was it sentient to begin with?

    • MegaMan3k

Nobody is talking about Infamous anymore either, fwiw.

    • Playmaker

Ghosts was a really fun and fast paced game with a new engine. Yea. No it wasn’t.

      • Grif

Ghosts was the worst CoD in the series and basically everyone can agree.

        • Playmaker

          You convinced me more. Agreed

          • Grif

Oohhh lol I thought you were defending Ghosts. Haha let’s hope Advanced Warfare is good.

        • Yevgenij Pekurovskyy

Yeah at least mw3 had spec ops missions and campaign wasnt so borring

          • Grif

Ya, it also had new multiplayer game modes which were nice.

            • Yevgenij Pekurovskyy

Speaking of which ghosts took out headquarters ,capture the flag and demolition, i always enjoyed

            • Grif

Yep, my friend and I would get home from school and always play CTF and Demolition competitively, so much fun.

    • Brady Guyant

Yeah Titanfall 1.35 Mill….Infamous 1.03 million….and that’s titanfall on xbox one not 360 so I am sure their sales will be alot higher. Infamous is great and might sell alot but its not better than the original, graphics wise yes but story wise and character wise…no its not. And I know a ton of COD players that barely play it now cause of titanfall and I am included. Now I never knew it would be a COD killer and if you did then you don’t know the power and size of COD period. Its like anything big you can’t take it down in one swoop it takes time and chipping away at it. COD will doom itself in time and like its brother Guitar Hero also done by activision it will get too big for its own good and implode. Titanfall has done what it was meant to do in my opinion from the get go, get people to open up their minds to what FPS shooters use to be, simple…fast paced…and fun.

    • Tank Buster

COD killed itself a long time ago, don’t need Titan Fall for that.

    • Missle636

just because you aren’t playing it doesn’t mean there is nobody playing it…

    • Sir Elton Pr0n

Hmm…predicting age between 10 and 12. The name CoDforever and the lmao give it away.

      • CoDforever

yea thats why i would be on a mature less popular site MP1st instead of IGN or gamespot, im totally 11

  • BRUCE LEEROY

Who cares no one here have stocks with EA and respawn so it doesn’t matter if its a cod killer of not. EA or respawn didn’t say it was going to kill cod, only the cod haters gave it that title.

    • MegaMan3k

      Ahem.

For a multiplayer only game, player retention ABSOLUTELY MATTERS A LOT.

    • Playmaker

      Lobbies seem good to me.

  • Mr. Thuggins

Well, would you look at that… ANOTHER game releasing its DLC on MS consoles first… (Sarcasm)

I’ve yet to experience these dead lobbies and infinite wait times that everybody is talking about. Maybe it’s a regional or PC thing…

    • Tank Buster

      lol

  • Tank Buster

    Swamplands map looks amazing!

  • Enochrewt

I don’t know where this “Dead” comes from. I don’t care about the hype, I find the game enjoyable and still play it. I get plenty of games against tons of people. My only lingering issue with this game is that the lobbies have too high of a countdown time.
