New Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Multiplayer Mode Unveiled – Momentum

Sledgehammer Games Lead Multiplayer Designer Greg Reisdorf drops the first details on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare‘s new multiplayer game mode, Momentum.

Originally inspired by Call of Duty: World at War’s “War” game mode, Momentum places 5 capture points on a map in a straight line, creating linear battles between two teams trying to push the other back with captures. The more points you hold, the more your momentum increases, allowing you to capture points quicker.

Check out some of IGN’s gameplay below, along with commentary from Reisdorf on the new map, Retreat.

From last week, you can also learn about two new multiplayer maps coming to Advanced Warfare this November 3, Retreat and Recovery by following the links.

Were you a big fan of War in World at War? Are you happy to see its return as Momentum in Advanced Warfare?
