The world’s most realistic VR boxing game and highly anticipated sequel, Thrill of the Fight 2, is now officially available in early access, pitting Quest players against one another in an all-out brawl.
Thrill of the Fight 2 Lets You Punch Someone in VR
Quest owners looking to find the perfect workout game will be happy to know that Thrill of the Fight 2 is now available on the Quest store! Granted, it’s early access and for the multiplayer mode, though fans of the series will no doubt want to to check this one out, as multiplayer was one of the most requested features in the first game.
A breakdown of what you can expect in early access:
- Immersive Online Multiplayer: Skill-based matchmaking and direct matches with friends or other players around the world.
- Exceptionally High-Fidelity Boxing Experience: Authentic, true-to-life physics for a realistic boxing feel.
- Stunning Graphics and Realistic Immersion: Breathtaking visuals that make you feel like you’re truly in the ring.
- Represent Yourself in the Ring: Personalize your character’s facial features, gender, skin tone, and body type.
- Customize Your Gear: Select your gloves, shorts, shoes, and more including premium gear coming later in early access.
- Spectator App: Gather your friends to watch your matches with a “live sports” style camera on a connected PC.
As for those who aren’t too big on the multiplayer side of gaming, worry not, as Thrill of the Fight 2 is planned to have an offline mode, though exactly when is to be announced.
“We’re excited to finally bring multiplayer to fans with Thrill 2’s early access launch while we work on building smart opponent AI for the game’s upcoming offline game modes. This is just the start of the development journey— we want to give our fans access to the action right away while they help shape Thrill 2 for its full release,” said Ian Fitz, the creator of Thrill of the Fight.
For those interested, you can purchase early access on the Meta Horizon Store for $10. Not a bad entry price for what will amount to countless hours of fun.
