Apex Legends Update 2.73 Removes Perk Exploit and More This November 26

Apex Legends just got a new update this November 26 on all platforms, and this aims to plug in an exploit, alongside other fixes. Those on last-gen will see this as Apex Legends update 2.73, while current-gen players will see this as update version 1.000.087.

Alongside the fixes, we’ve included the issues Respawn is looking into, which should be fixed in other patches.

Apex Legends Revive Expert, Heal Expert Perks Exploit Now Removed in Latest Update

Here’s what got fixed by Respawn today:

• Resolved a visual bug with the Ice Cold R-301 skin
• Fixed an exploit allowing players to use the Revive Expert and Heal Expert perks to survive outside the Ring
• Updated the “Equip Hover” Rift Relic Challenge to “5 Kills With a Rift Relic Weapons”
• Resolved an issue causing the Ice Beam Charge Rifle skin to show the incorrect model in 3rd person view
• Pushed the shield damage visual clutter fix to console platforms

INVESTIGATING

• [Welcome Pass] Stuck at level 39/final reward not awarding
• [DirectX] Not enough shaders loading in at boot, occasionally results in stutters and/or missing textures or models
• No V/SFX player for allies on Legend Select screen
• [Xbox] FPS drops with Bloodhound Ult
• [R-99/Peacekeeper] Specific trials not tracking in BR/Mixtape
• Founder’s badge shows as locked, but can still be equipped
• Weapon Mastery + Trackers show different values

FIX IN PROGRESS

• [Akimbo] Held XP is low in match summary
• Friends list shows yourself as friend
