Death Stranding 2 Update 1.015

While we’re not expecting Kojima Productions to release new content for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach without fanfare, that doesn’t mean we won’t be getting title updates for the game.

The developers have released Death Stranding 2 update 1.015 today, June 10, and this is another unannounced patch.

Given there is no announcement regarding the update, don’t expect much from it.

Death Stranding 2 Updated to Version 1.015 on PS5

Death Stranding 2 Update 1.3

As expected, Kojima Productions or PlayStation’s XDev have not commented on the update. Three months ago, we received new content for the game, and the studio hasn’t commented on the updates after it.

The PC version of the game received a patch last week, which included the following fixes:

  • Fixed a bug where VSync would not restore correctly after enabling or disabling frame generation.
  • Addressed an issue where VSync could remain enabled when turning on DLSS Frame Generation.
  • Improved distant terrain texture quality when using high or very high texture settings.
  • Added support for displaying PlayStation friends and PlayStation user avatars when signed in to your PlayStation account.
  • Updated Intel XeSS Frame Generation to the latest version, including bug fixes and support for Multi Frame Generation and XeLL on supported Intel GPUs.
  • Fixed a rare progression bug that could prevent the next Main Order from advancing after saving and loading in Magellan’s private room.
  • Resolved an issue where players could sometimes be unable to place or remove map markers when playing below 30 FPS.
  • Added support for C/GL/GR button icons for Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller.
  • Various improvements and bug fixes related to the user interface.
  • Various minor bug fixes related to localization.

We’re not expecting the same slate of fixes to be applied to the PS5 version, as we think it most likely just sorts out stability and other non-player-facing issues.

If we find any specific fix, we’ll update the article.
