Minecraft Bedrock 26.34 Released as Hotfix 3.43/1.053
Mojang has released a new hotfix for Minecraft across all platforms today, July 23. Called Bedrock Edition 26.34, console gamers will see this download as Minecraft update 3.43 on last-gen, and version 1.053 for current-gen consoles.
This fixes graphical issues more than anything else, so don’t expect a sweeping list of changes.

- Fixed texture bleeding on custom blocks using automatic block face UV assignment with undersized textures

- Achievement (Organizational Wizard) error
- Axolotls can no longer spawn in lush caves
- Minecraft panorama glitch
- Nintendo switch crashes when opening achievements
- Touch control size/opacity adjustment broken
- Flipbook textures’ heightmaps do not render correctly in ray-traced graphics mode (RTX, PBR)
- Performance regression and instability on iPhone 15 Pro in 1.21.100 compared to 1.21.73
- Multiple Simplified Chinese Localization Bugs on Ore UI
- All types of chestplate have incorrect Simplified Chinese tooltip text “When on a chest block”
- The addon texture exists but cannot be found
- In game screenshots and realm stories gone
- Aether Legends Marketplace add-on won’t install on Nintendo Switch 2
- Vibrant Visuals, the Volumetric Lights fails to render properly after enabling.
- sound_definitions.json files are missing in game files
- Heightmaps not rendering correctly
This is, of course, just the tip of the iceberg, as Minecraft is a user-centric game that has the player’s imagination as the only limitations, so expect a lot more bugs with the game than your standard boxed title.
