Carbon 57
- Fabricator Mag nerfed to reduce its effectiveness in aggressive play.

- This makes it less effective during fast, back-to-back engagements by increasing the likelihood of running low on ammunition.

- Base weapon:

Ranked Play
SR Tuning Adjustments
- To help counter the SR inflation observed in higher Skill Divisions during Season 04, we’ve increased the base SR loss for the following Ranks:
- Platinum: Base SR loss increased to -25 SR
- Diamond: Base SR loss increased to -30 SR
- Crimson: Base SR loss increased to -40 SR
- We’ve also updated how Opponent Rank Adjustments are awarded. Players will now only receive positive or negative Opponent Rank Adjustments when the opposing player is 3 or more Rank Tiers above or below their current Rank.
- For example, a Platinum III player who outperforms a Diamond III player will receive a positive Opponent Rank Adjustment, since there is a 3+ Tier difference. However, outperforming a Diamond I player will no longer award a bonus, as the difference is only 1 Tier.
- Previously, any opponent above or below your Rank could trigger these adjustments. This change makes Opponent Rank Adjustments more consistent by reserving bonuses and penalties for matches against players who are significantly higher or lower in Rank.

- Supply Drones can be shot down to immediately access their payload, or players can wait for them to complete their delivery before collecting it.
- A portion of loot that previously spawned on the ground is now delivered by Supply Drones:
- Approximately 40% of Legendary Supply Box loot.

- Players can shoot them down to access Buy Stations before they reach their destination.
- Destroying airborne Buy Stations also grants additional rewards.
- This feature is disabled in Ranked Play.
Adjusted
- Respawn Location Quality of Life
- Improved respawn positioning when no living squadmates are available as valid respawn targets.
This update improves the consistency of respawn scenarios by providing more reliable positioning, closer to the previous death location, when traditional squad-based respawn options are unavailable. Our goal is to reduce unfavorable respawn situations when your team is not currently in play.
- Vehicle Health
- Adjusted vehicle damage taken by playlist:
- Solos: Vehicles take approximately 30% more damage.
- Duos: Vehicles take approximately 20% more damage.
- Trios: Vehicles take approximately 10% more damage.
- Quads: No change.
- Adjusted vehicle damage taken by playlist:
Vehicle effectiveness can vary significantly depending on squad size, with smaller teams having fewer opportunities to coordinate against vehicle threats. These adjustments aim to create a more consistent vehicle balance across playlists. We’ll continue monitoring vehicle performance across playlists to ensure they remain impactful without becoming overly dominant in smaller squad sizes.

- Thermite
- Reduced Thermite damage against vehicles.
Thermites have remained a reliable option for dealing with vehicles, but their effectiveness against armored targets was exceeding our intended power level. With Season 5, they are coming back into loot rotation. This adjustment reduces their impact against vehicles while maintaining their role as a strong area denial and damage-over-time equipment option against players.

Weapon Adjustments
» Battle Royale & Resurgence «
- Underwater Ballistics Quality of Life
- Standardized underwater bullet behavior to improve weapon consistency.
- Increased maximum underwater bullet travel distance:
- Sniper Rifles: Set to 19m.
- Marksman Rifles: Set to 19m.
- LMGs:Set to 17m.
- Assault Rifles: Set to 15m.
- SMGs: Set to 12m.
- Pistols: Set to 10m.
- Decreased underwater bullet gravity scalar.
Previously, underwater engagements could feel inconsistent due to significant differences in weapon performance through water surface. These changes standardize underwater ballistics behavior across weapon categories, improving reliability and predictability while maintaining the intended limitations of engaging with an underwater target.
We’ve seen a healthy spread of weapon choices across both the AR and SMG categories. With this update, we’re making targeted adjustments to a handful of weapons to further open up the meta and create more opportunities for strong contenders just below the top to shine. Overall, we’ve been pleased around weapon selection and what our analytics show in terms of weapon pick rates.
- M15 Mod 0 AMR .50 Cal Kit (In-Season)
- Converts the M15 MOD 0 to fire .50 caliber rounds for improved lethality at impressive distance. Sacrifices fire rate and recoil control for raw power.
- Unlockable via Weekly Challenge Reward.
