College Football 27 New Update 1.011 Rolled Out for Minor Patch on September 10
EA Sports has rolled out a minor patch for College Football 27 on September 10, and this targets a specific issue across all platforms.
Players will see this as College Football 27 update 1.011, and this should be a small download across the board.

College Football 27 Multi-User Online Dynasty Issues Fixed on September 10
Update: Additional info about today’s changes:
- Removed both the blocking bonus and increased Holding penalty risk from the Aggressive Blocking Coach Adjustment, so selecting it no longer changes blocking performance or Holding penalty rates.
- Significantly reduced the bonus chance to break tackles provided by the Aggressive Ball Carrier Coach Adjustment.
- Improved how CPU defenses adjust to repeated outside run calls.
According to EA, today’s patch targets the Multi-User Online Dynasty access issues. If you didn’t know what this was, it’s an issue that surfaced after the big September 3 patch that introduced new uniforms and equipment, and a swathe of fixes.
Thankfully, players do not need to restart their leagues and will be able to jump right back once the fix is applied.
Note that this patch doesn’t fix every issue, and here are some the community has reported:
- TeamBuilder Error 105
- “Mercedes-Benz Stadium is broken
- Entire Roster Skipped a Year
- Only League creator can scout in Online Dynasty
- Several players’ helmets turned plain white
- “Cap Breakers needed” bug RTG
- Tier Selection in Road To CFP Is Bugged
- Sound Static/glitch
- Road to Glory freezing/crashing
- Xbox, PS5, PC version hard crash issues
If you haven’t logged into the game since last week, the major changes applied include:
- Man Coverage: Pass lead distance increased; Zig route animations fixed for Elite Route Runners; WR/DB jostle and separation improved; Man Press shading penalties increased.
- Defensive Fixes: Addressed illegal forward pass calls, Combo Coverage, Cloud Flats, coverage shells, defensive hot routes, zone-drop play art, and catch-tackle knockouts.
- EA SPORTS Network: New dynamic storytelling system added to Road to Glory and Dynasty, featuring personalized news, game previews, and postgame recaps.
- Dynasty: Numerous fixes and updates, including AD Expectations, schedules, stadiums, recruiting, injuries, team branding, and Power Rusher DT Grip Breaker requirements.
- Road to Glory: Added 13 new Legends Templates, including Julius Peppers, J.J. Watt, Sean Taylor, Jerome Bettis, Tony Gonzalez, Arch Manning, and Jeremiah Smith.
- Ultimate Team: Major fixes across Ultimate Captains, Objectives, EVOs, Auction House, progression, Ranked RP, challenges, rewards, and onboarding.
- Equipment & Uniforms: Added turtlenecks, Guardian caps, new Nike/Under Armour cleats, numerous facemasks, and updated uniforms for several teams.
- Audio: Added 950+ commentary lines, including Heisman content, halftime updates, playoff lines, player names, and TD calls. Two new menu songs were also added.
- RTCFP: Added Open the Playbook, featuring 42 unlockable playbooks—11 offensive and 31 defensive.
