Splinter Cell Remake Core Experience Will Be the Same as Original, New Concept Screens Released

As part of today’s Splinter Cell 20th anniversary, Ubisoft has released a new video where Ubisoft devs sit down to discuss the franchise’s early releases and talks about the graphics, lighting and more! In addition to that, some more details regarding the recently announced Splinter Cell remake has surfaced  alongside new concept art for it too.

Per the video, Ubisoft has shared the following details:

  • Still in prototyping stage, devs aren’t rushing anything
  • Core of the story, core of the experience will remain the same as in the original game
  • Exploring new and innovative tech and ideas, as well as features and elements from other Splinter Cell titles.
  • Hopes this sets up a good foundation for the franchise going forward

In addition to that, a bunch of new concept art for the remake has been released as well. Remember: these are concept artwork and not screenshots.

As one might expect, there is still no firm release date/window for the Splinter Cell remake just yet.
