While Battlefield 2042 players got the big 5.1.0 patch earlier this month, the studio has announced that the Battlefield 2042 next update is due for release next week.
The server-side update will tweak Dozer’s Shield bash and the issue regarding Aim Down Sight (ADS) sensitivity that surfaced from patch 5.1.0.

Next week we’ll be releasing a small server-side hotfix to resolve an issue surrounding unintended amounts of sensitivity whilst Aiming Down Sights with Uniform Soldier Aiming.

Taking on board #Battlefield2042 feedback regarding Dozer’s Shield we will be deploying the following change next week to ensure his bash has less bash.

As you can see, Dozer’s Shield Bash range has been reduced significantly which should be welcome news for players annoyed at how far it can reach. No word yet on when it’s out, but once it it is, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.
