Starfield Lets You Turn Your Screenshots Into Loading Screens

starfield update

One of the coolest features from Fallout 76 has made its way into Starfield, as the game takes in-game captures and displays them during loading screens.

As more and more players begin to get their hands on Bethesda’s latest RPG, Starfield, many are discovering several easter eggs and hidden mechanics throughout the game. One of those unknown mechanics just so happens to be from Fallout 76, and that’s the one where the game will display your in-game captures during load screens. It seems that Bethesda saw how well this feature was received and brought it back for Starfield!

As you can see, one of our capture images is being displayed as a loading screen. That’s pretty awesome! How do you do this, you ask? Well, it’s simple. All you have to do is open up photo mode and take that picture-perfect moment via the “take picture” button. Starfield will store it in a gallery, where it will recall from and display it, and any other pictures (on rotation) during any loading screen.

That’s one creative way to use your in-game captures.

Starfield is now available on PC and Xbox for those who purchased the early access premium edition. Otherwise, it’ll be officially available on September 6 for all standard owners.

If you’re unsure whether to get the game or not, go read our review here where we state, “It has everything you’d want from a Bethesda game: a deep and prosperous universe filled with endless possibilities and limitless potential. Be who you want to be, go where you want to go; your freedom is in your hands, and what you do with it is entirely up to you in Starfield.”
