With the recent release of Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, and the upcoming launch of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth in early 2024, one would assume that RGG Studio has its hands full. But, it seems like the Yakuza studio has another ace up its sleeve, as Studio Director Masayoshi Yokoyama has teased another big announcement for 2024.

In a new interview with Famitsu, in which they asked over 150 game creators about their aspirations for the next year. Yokoyama revealed that he hopes to make another big announcement in 2024. Find the full statement below:
What a man for the 4th year (year of the dragon)! I am very happy to be able to release my new work “Like a Dragon: infinite Wealth” in such a year. I’m not looking forward to the release from now on, but I hope I can make another big announcement in 2024! Please look forward to Ryu ga Gotoku Studio in 2024!
We don’t know what this announcement might be but with the Studio Director saying it is a “big announcement”, it sounds very promising. Meanwhile, RGG Studio fans can look forward to Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth which launches on January 26, 2024 across PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

I hope RGG announces another title in the “Like A Dragon” Series. I had a blast playing The Man Who Erased His Name, Infinite Wealth look’s phenomenal from what i’ve seen.
A live action movie (not the Takeshi Miike one that was a disaster) starring Masatoshi Hamada and Hitoshi Matsumoto as Ichi and Ryu.
