Those looking to play Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, you better prepare for it for a long haul, as the Infinite Wealth length will roughly take 72 to 96 hours to complete and that’s just the main story alone with no side quests even factored in.
This was revealed by RGG Studio Director Masayoshi Yokoyama in an interview where the developer mentioned that Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s length will take players 3-4 days “without sleep” for the main story.
Yokoyama: If you wanted to clear only the main story of Infinite Wealth, it would take about 3-4 days without sleep. That means no sleep, no detours, and almost no side stories, so please enjoy the game bit by bit, without losing any sleep.
While the game hasn’t been released yet, it seems poised to be the first commercial blockbuster of 2024, as Yokoyama also revealed that the upcoming RPG has already shattered pre-order records for the franchise.
──By the way, how has Infinite Wealth been doing in terms of pre-orders?
Yokoyama: Quite well – I think we might break a record in terms of pre-orders.
While there are no numbers released for it, the Yakuza franchise has been one of SEGA’s top moneymakers, so this is definitely good news for the company.

The latest game in the franchise, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, was released this November, and while it’s way shorter than Infinite Wealth, it’s still a solid experience.
