Hogwarts Legacy – Which House Should You Pick?

hogwarts legacy houses

In Hogwarts Legacy, you are sorted into one of four Houses. Fans of the Harry Potter books or movies will be familiar with House Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff. Each of these Hogwarts Legacy Houses represents a different ideal, and while the iconic Sorting Hat will initially choose a House for you, you’re free to select any one of the four on your own.

Each House unlocks an exclusive set of content, dialogue options, and more, so it’s a choice that you may not want to take lightly. Here’s what House you should pick in Hogwarts Legacy.

Hogwarts Legacy – Which House Should You Pick?

What Do You Get From a House?

Each Hogwarts House comes with exclusive content, but for the most part, they’re fairly similar to one another. Getting sorted into a House unlocks the House’s respective Common Room, additional dialogue and interactions with certain NPCs, and colors for garments relating to your House.

If you’re wondering whether or not the Houses affect the game’s overarching story or ending, the answer is no. You’ll still unlock spells, quests, and almost all other content in the game regardless of what House you belong to. Do note, however, that you’ll need to play the game in all four Houses if you want to collect all of the game’s trophies.
