With layoffs affecting at Microsoft affecting 343 Industries and a new rumor stating that the studio has canned development on Halo Infinite’s campaign DLCs, it seems the studio’s boss felt a statement was needed to assuage fan concerns.
Over on Twitter, Pierre Hintze, studio head of 343 Industries posted a message confirming the studio’s commitment and involvement in the Halo franchise.

Halo and Master Chief are here to stay.
343 Industries will continue to develop Halo now and in the future, including epic stories, multiplayer, and more of what makes Halo great.

Mind, this doesn’t confirm or deny the Halo Infinite campaign DLC rumors, nor does it state that anything new is being development. Let’s hope that whatever 343 has planned for the franchise, it’ll be better received than Halo Infinite.
