$349 Halo: The Master Chief Collection Xbox One Bundle Arrives This Month

Following Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s most recent stability patch, it appears Microsoft is now confident enough to bundle the legendary but troubled collection of Halo titles along with the Xbox One console, priced at a cool $349.

The bundle will be offered “in most regions where Xbox One is available” with a Kinect-less 500GB Xbox One console and a digital download code for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Within, you’ll find the entirety of Master Chief’s epic saga, including Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4, all upgraded to run at 1080p and 60 frames per second. You’ll also gain access to neat extras like Ridley Scott’s digital live-action series, Halo: Nightfall.

Originally met with poor player feedback after a troubled launch due to a dysfunctional multiplayer, Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s most recent update has done wonders for the game’s online multiplayer matchmaking and party stability, elevating it to a much more playable and enjoyable state. There’s still some work to be done, but the opportunity to own all four Halo titles, technically for free, along with the purchase of an Xbox One console is pretty hard to pass up if you were already looking to get your hands Microsoft’s latest.

Check your local retailer or at your favorite online retailer, like the Microsoft Store, for availability. UPDATE: As a bonus, GameStop is currently offering a free three-month Xbox Live Gold membership with the purchase of the Halo: The Master Chief Collection Xbox One bundle.

Stay tuned right here for the latest updates on Halo: The Master Chief Collection and the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians.
